Tax relief
Patients from the Republic of Ireland are entitled to claim tax relief on medical expenses including eye surgery at The Cathedral Eye Clinic, Belfast.A new announcement in the annual budget (14 October 2008) has put a limit of 20% on the tax relief on medical expenses including laser eye surgery. This will come into effect on 1st January 2009. Book surgery before 31st December in order to save hundreds of euro.
